My friend brother Andre just posted this video to my facebook wall yesterday and I love him for it.

I hadn’t heard this song in so long and it made me so incredibly happy. But that’s kinda what Andre does. He has this way of bringing up forgotten loves and making me remember some of the things that make me smile the most. He has this way of knowing me to the core. He just knows me…and loves me in this really honest way.

There were times he forced me to laugh when I didn’t want to. There were times he made me want to cry when I didn’t want to confront something. Andre could be the  king of tough love. At times that made him the hardest person to have in my life. But what I realize now is that he just wanted me to happy…and got really fucking annoyed when I wasn’t. He got really fucking annoyed when I couldn’t see how great my life was and was missing out because of it…and would do anything to make me open my eyes.
