Sleep Alone | Two Door Cinema Club

I love Two Door Cinema Club. 

I love them because they make the perfect songs to ride your bike to. Not riding your bike around San Francisco to get from place to place. But riding your bike to go on a ride. One of those rides you take when you walk outside, realize it’s a beautiful day, turn around and go right back in your house to grab your ID and a sweater and take off for the ocean. 

Rides like that can be the most contradictory escapes in the most comforting way. To just take off and go to the edge of San Francisco and leave behind the places that form your everyday experiences and make you feel trapped. But once you get to the ocean, you just stand there. And you begin to appreciate this place that holds some of the best people you’ve ever met in your life. And you start texting, hop back on your bike, and eagerly pedal back from the edge of San Francisco to go see the people that make your voluntary entrapment worth it.
