How Deep Is Your Love? | The Rapture

This morning my friend Maria and I  were driving to work and had one of those 30 minute long sessions of What was that band’s name?!?!  It was painful and hilarious. All she could remember was one word from the title of one of their more (or most) popular songs…and that they kinda sounded like Cut Copy (or was it Hot Chip)…and that their faces were kinda blurry in their album cover.

Yes. This was definitely going to be a hard case to crack for Nancy Drew.

After listing off band name after band name…nada. But I kept on as we walked into the office and got to our desks. I did some google searches and listed off more. 

Holy Ghost!?

No.

The Presets?

No.

The Rapture?

Yes!

And just like that, the case was closed. And I started listening to one of my favorite songs that I hadn’t listened to in forever. And uncovered that I missed a lot during my first go round.

I never realized that it was a love song (yes, even after reading the title). I never realized how sweet the lyrics were. I never realized this song could make me smile more than it already had.
