There’s something so lovely about this song to me.

I think it’s because the lyrics are words I wish I’d heard.

I feel like people rarely say things like this to people who once loved them. Sweet sentiments that make someone feel as if their love had meaning. Like their love was cherished even if it was no longer wanted.  

I wonder if Gabe Donnay or Adam Boukiswhy ever said these words to the person that sparked this track. Or if they didn’t, if they’ll send them this song. I hope they do. I hope that person gets to hear these words. Because I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful moment than having a past love tell you ‘I wouldn’t trade your love".
