Thank God for Girls.

Why thank you Weezer.

Thank you for your appreciation. 

Your appreciation for all the love, pain, fear, acceptance, and contradiction we bring into your lives. It can be a lot to handle sometimes but I like that you think it’s worth it.

And thanks for acknowledging the magnitude of what we bring:

She’s so big.

She’s so strong.

Not many guys sing about our size and strength. 

Plenty of guys love to sing about our delicate features, or the softness of our skin, or that oh-so-sweet-but-not-that-sweet look we give them that makes them want to do oh-so-sweet-but-not-that-sweet things to us. 

Yeah, they love to song about us like an entity to worship. But don’t like to often like to sing about us like a force to be reckoned with. 

So thanks for that. 

Thanks for appreciating those of us that are more than just pretty little things - or as Ronda Rousey likes to say a “do nothing bitch”.  

And we’ll keep being big, being strong, and shoving big fat cannolis in your mouth to show our love as long as you’d like.
