Open Season | Josef Salvat

I’ve been listening to this track for a while now, and other tracks by Salvat, but I could never bring myself to post about it for some reason. And I never really knew why. 

But Thanksgiving morning Jen and I did the 90 min turkey burn ride at SoulCycle and Jenny played this track and it made me so fucking happy. It made me so happy to bike the shit out of the morning and hear someone say “I believe in you”. I was pretty fucking incredible to tap back on that bike and hear “we’re in this game together”.

I still don’t know why I didn’t post  this months ago. Maybe because I thought that lyrics like that felt too easy, or simple, or positive for me to write anything remarkable about. But maybe its those easy, simple, and positive words that stand on their own. And don’t need anything except to be heard.
