Tom Misch has this way of creating songs I just want to come back to.

He did it with “In the Midst of It All”. And he did it again with this one.

I love hearing this track when I wake up on a weekend and want to linger in bed.

When I don’t want to look at my phone and instead stay in a dreamy state for a little while longer.

When I don’t want to think about what I have to do that day.

When I want to imagine what my day could look like if my life was slightly different.

A different job. A different city. A different partner. A different past.

This song makes me want to lie there and watch my alternate life go by.

I’ll get out of bed eventually.

I just want to see how this movie will play out.
