There’s something so strange about how happy this song is. 

It’s like he knew this person would eventually leave. Like he knew they would walk away and all the time before that moment was just this weird waiting game. And when it finally happened, instead of feeling devastated he felt relief.

I still can’t wrap my head around how sad and awesome that perspective is. But I do love how it sounds.
