I’ve been loving this song for a while but I couldn’t figure out why.

Usually the lyrics of a song make me obsessed over it. I never could decipher the lyrics of this track. But those beats…

Those beats told me everything.

They had this light excitement like your heart has when it fluttes. They had that sway you get when you’re really feelin’ someone. They had that deep resonance like something that hits you to your core. At times the beats felt muffled, like something struggling to get out.  And at times they gained momentum like something trying to push through. Those beats took me there. They wove in and out of all the feels and lingered to each one like they were unwilling, or unable, to let go. 

And then I found a video with the lyrics. And it all made sense.
