The Beat Comes | Snowden

I’m not a patient person. This is I know. Not with myself. Sometimes not with other people. And definitely not when it comes to french fries and bourbon. I want what I want when I want it…which is usually now.

Someone once said patience is when you let go of expectations. That totally makes sense. Because I have high expectations. For myself. Sometimes for others. And definitely for french fries and bourbon. 

I'm beginning to get the sneaking suspicion that if you can be patient…let go of expectations...and wait for a second…the beat will come…

…and it will feel oh so good
