Evil Twin | Krrum

I like the idea of an evil twin.

And I like the marching feel this song has.

And in a lot of ways they go perfectly together.

There are days when shit feels tough. Those days when everything comes at you. And you react like the nice and polite person that you are because you know you should be nice and polite. But when the shit keeps coming being nice and polite wears you down. 

It takes so much energy to smile when all you really want to do is tilt your head stare blankly. It takes so much effort to respond to someone nicely when all you really want to do is ask “what the fuck are you talking about?” it takes so much out of you to be nice in polite when all you really want is for your evil twin to take over. 

You want her to come marching in out of nowhere, snarling at anyone who makes eye contact with her, and flicking off anyone that comes in her path. You want her to come sit at your desk when someone says something annoying. You want her to stand over you on the Muni when someone’s obnoxious or rude. You want her right there along side of you when some random guy on the street says something offensive.

The next time I have one of those days where shit just keeps coming and i’m drained from being nice in polite, I hope this song doesn’t come on. 

Because I’d be really scared for the people who’d come in her path.
