CPU | Big Boi, Phantogram

I haven’t written in a while. And I’m not really sure why that is.

I could say it’s been work…which it has. I could say it’s been school…which it has. 

But I think it’s just that I’ve been stuck. Stuck listening to the same tracks over and over again. And this has been one of them. Every element of this song just makes me need to have it on a loop.

But it’s the layers of bass steering all these elements that just does it for me. It feels like this electronic heartbeat that keeps everything flowing. And when hear it, it’s like my own heartbeat fades away and this beat takes control. Like this electronic heartbeat somehow becomes responsible for me staying alive. And for four minutes and 12 seconds I’m bound to my laptop…like matte silver 15-inch life support machine.
