I don’t know what’s more beautiful in this song - the beats, or the lyrics of the chorus.

Both are so bare. So open. So honest.

In my essay for grad school I wrote about Deiter Rams’ definitions of good design and the one that connected with me the most:   

“Good design is as little design as possible.”  

That statement has always represented the beauty I found in good design. But I didn’t realize it also represented a beauty I found in music too. 

Or a beauty I found in words…Or, in talking, really.

A beauty that’s there when you just say how you feel. 

And leave out everything else.
