This weekend I got what I needed.

Friend time, alone time, work time, adventure time. After a week like last week I need to get my shit together. I needed to get my head on straight. I needed get outside. I needed to remind myself what matters most.

On Saturday, after working all morning, I called Michelle and we drove around the city. We went to my favorite record shop in the sunset and I bought this little gem.

It’s the exact track you want to play when you come home after a long day. When you want to sit on a porch with a quality gin cocktail and watch the sun set. When you just want to sit still for a while. When that stillness feels so good you don’t even move when the sun shines directly in your eyes. And instead you decide to just close them instead of moving.
