Best of 2020 - Siren

I usually try to avoid putting the same artist on my top lists multiple times. But when I love a track, I love a track. And well…it’s Tourist.

The first Tourist track I fell in love with and wrote about was “I Can’t Keep Up” on February 13th 2014 (back when this was on tumblr (tumlbr?!?!?!))

That track hit me. It hit me hard. It hit me in ways I didn’t think a track could.

I must have played that track on repeat for weeks. It was on every playlist I made for at least a year. I didn’t know who the fuck Tourist was but I was in.

If you haven’t listened to that track, do it.

Then, last year, he put out ‘Everyday.’ An album that is magic. And makes those moments called out by its title magic too. I must have listened to it for weeks. Blissful weeks.

So yeah. Tourist has two tracks on my best of 2020 list. Because…well…it’s Tourist.
