I really like this track. It sounds like The Drums meets Pinback. It’s the perfect sound for a partly cloudy day at the beach.

I’ve been craving walks by the water a lot lately.

So much so, that I convinced my friend Suzanne to go on a walk with me at Ocean beach a couple of weeks ago - when it was so rainy and windy that at one point, we helped an older woman who wasn’t able to walk to her car because of it.

After living in LA, I wasn’t really feeling San Francisco’s beaches. They didn’t feel like a place where I could surf or really enjoy the water. But the past few months have made me change my mind.

Walking around Ocean Beach and the Outer Sunset has made me appreciate SF beach days - Walking around listening to the waves, watching kite surfers, watching dogs play (I swear every time I take an Ocean beach walk, I am one step closer to getting my Portuguese Water Dog, Johnny Utah). Then heading to Tunnel Records to find some hidden gems and walking next door to Avenues for an onigirazu at. It’s become a new ritual that I love. And I think this song would go perfectly with it.
