But more than anything this song takes me back to doing all of these things Gretchen. I feel like if I wasn’t at school or at home, I was hanging with her. 

I remember the moment this girl sat down next to me in class with her backpack covered in vegan slogans. I remember telling myself “don’t talk about the burgers at lunch”. And I remember not having any clue that this girl was going to be come one of my best friends.
