I don’t know what it is about this man but he can do no wrong in my eyes. Even when I don’t want to hear what he’s singing about, I love it. And that is often.

Every song seems to bring up a long, or not so long, forgotten moment of longing/sadness/confusion/(enter heartbreaking emotion here) that I would rather let lie. But here comes Twin Shadow, bringing it back to the forefront of my mind.

But you can’t get mad at him because he gets it right every time. Every fucking time. So you sit there and listen while he reopens what you wanted to keep closed. With what feels like the loveliest crowbar ever. But at least with this song, you can dance while he does it.
