Classic feat. Powers | The Knocks

I think part of the reason I haven’t posted in so long is because I’ve been listening to this song on repeat for over three weeks now. 

Not joking.

But the thing is, what do you write about a song like this? What do write about song that’s so perfect? Or at least about something so perfect?

Oh hey! I really love this song! I really love this fun upbeat song that’s about love! And I really love this song because it’s what I’m experiencing right now! I love this song because when i’m walking down the street, or on my bike, or on the Muni, I hear the line “Yeah it feels so classic. You and me, the magic. Mmm. And I know we have it. Cause it feels…yeah it feels…yeah it feels…so classic.” and go “Yeah!” I love this song because for so long i’ve been loving these dark songs about something being off, that for the first time I feel like a get a song about something feeling right!

Yeah. No. I’m not going to write something like that.

But I will keep listening to this song with a huge fucking smile on my face.
