What Is Love | Tears & Marble

I don’t think a cover track has ever made me shun the original as much as this track has.

Granted, the Haddaway track was never that great to begin with. Actually, it was pretty fucking awful. But hearing this longing and questioning put to these soft beats music just makes you want to slap that 1990’s pop star in the face for ever thinking they should be danced to in a club.

I’m all for dancing. But sometimes lyrics should be placed in music just a delicate as the topics they explore.
