Touch | Big Wild
Last night, texting with my friend Josh, I said that when Covid was all over, I was going to be touching people all the time.
In an appropriate way of course.
But in a few inappropriate ways too.
That’s been a tough part of covid - no hugs, no high-fives, no hand holding, no kissing, no bumping into someone at a cafe…or on the dancefloor.
Physical touch is such a visceral part of being human that it feels so unnatural to not do it.
So many parts of covid have made me feel uncomfortable. But this one aspect of covid feels different. This one aspect of covid feels unnatural. Like I’m fighting against the most innate part of myself…and how I connect with the world.
And makes me wonder how will things feel on the other side of it.
