Fantas | Caterina Barbieri
Sometimes you hear a track and it perfectly encapsulates an experience in your life. Its lyrics, its sound, or its beats, capture how you were feeling in that moment, in every way. If your life were a movie, that track would be playing during that scene.
But then, there are tracks that do the opposite - Instead of being a soundtrack for something you’ve gone through, they’re a score for an experience you’ve never had. They don’t you back to a moment you can so clearly remember, they take you to a place you’ve never been. They make you feel like you’re in a scene in a movie, but just not yours. It’s a scene that feels foreign and unknown and the whole time you’re trying to find your footing until it ends.
And when it finally does you feel a little relieved but also oddly nostalgic.
Because for a moment that felt so unfamiliar, it connected with part of you didn’t know was there.
